The UW Imaging Physics Residency Program utilizes the AAPM Medical Physics Residency Application Program (MP-RAP) for the application and review process for admissions. The website can be accessed here.
The UW Imaging Physics Residency Program anticipates that two residency positions will open in 2022 and will begin accepting applications for new residents in the fall of 2021.
Application materials obtained through MP-RAP are reviewed by the UW Residency Steering Committee to identify applicants who will be invited for an on-site interview. The interview process involves one-on-one meetings with the Program Director, the Associate Program Director, and the chair of the Department of Medical Physics. The applicant will also interview with each member of the program Steering Committee. Following all interviews, the Steering Committee will meet to prepare a prioritized admissions list which will be submitted for the MedPhys Match process. Once matched residents are identified, offer letters will be sent stating the starting date, stipend, and benefit levels.
