Marina Emborg, Wally Block, and Collaborators Make Breakthrough in Treatment of Parkinson's Disease
Professors Marina Emborg and Wally Block, along with collaborators across the UW, have made a breakthrough in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Symptoms of the disease were reversed in monkeys after the injection of specially-grown brain cells. Congratulations to Drs. Emborg and Block, and all other researchers involved with this large step forward in Parkinson's treatment!
