Guang-Hong Chen, Ran Zhang, and collaborators find more precise way to detect pneumonia caused by COVID-19
Using a custom artificial intelligence algorithm called CV19-Net, a research team led by professors Guang-Hong Chen and Scott Reeder, along with assistant scientist Ran Zhang, has developed a method to detect pneumonia caused by COVID-19 at a sensitivity of 88% by analyzing x-ray images of affected lungs.
