Catherine Steffel Receives Travel Award from UW SRGC
Catherine Steffel, student of Dr. Tomy Varghese and Dr. Carol Mitchell, has received a $1,200 travel award from the UW Student Research Grants Competition to attend the 2019 AAPM annual meeting. Catherine will be giving two oral presentations on her work. Her abstracts are entitled "In-Vivo Quantitative Ultrasound Evaluation of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque with Attenuation Coefficient" and "Integrated Backscatter Computation for Quantitative Ultrasound Evaluation of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque In-Vivo."
