The Radioactivity Seminar at Clark Street Community School generously hosted the UW Medical Physics Outreach Committee to share our knowledge about radiation and its medical applications. The Outreach Committee brought an x-ray tube, Geiger counter, and chromatography demonstration as learning aids. The high school students challenged us with their insightful and enthusiastic questions during our presentation. After the presentation and demos, the students had the opportunity to ask us questions pertaining to their specific, individual course projects.
