Stephens Elementary hosted a Family Science Night that doubled as a student science fair! Students from the school were encouraged to present their own posters about various science topics. There were posters and demonstrations about electromagnets, how lungs work, animals, how chicks grow, trapping, and rocks! (just to name a few) The students could learn about ultrasound and radiation from the medical physics outreach volunteers; and conversely, the volunteers had the special opportunity to learn about all these other topics from the students! Thank you to Ruiqi Geng, Robert Moskwa, and Eric Wallat for their help with this event!
