Centro Hispanos hosted the Outreach Committee at their community center in southern Madison for an interactive afterschool science event. There were many science outreach groups in attendance, interacting with the students and inspiring curiosity. Each group introduced themselves and the science topic they had to share before the students were allowed to explore each group and interactive activity. Our portable ultrasound, x-ray images, and Geiger counter were well received by the students! Thank you to Eric Wallat and Tyler Tullis for their help with this event!
